When I type in the code I received I get this 'Thanks for confirming that you can access the contact email address you provided. On the other hand, if I type in another gmail address of mine as a contact address, it sends me a code to that 2nd gmail asking to confirm that I'm owner of the contact account. So I'm back to square one, since no code is actually being sent to that address even though google recovery recognizes it as the legitimate back up account of the gmail I'm trying to recover. If I type in the backup address itself of the account I'm trying to recover, it just throws me back at 'verification code has been sent to that address' cause I guess it recognizes it or whatever. So then I click on 'try another way' and it asks me what address can I be contacted on. Otherwise, you have to wait for the teams response.
